If they can do this to puppies, I can only imagine what cruelity they inflict on humans. But then we've seen plenty of other videos of them abusing captives.

Even if the video is fake, the soldiers will most likely be charged, probably with something along the lines of bringing the Marine Corp into disrepute.

Horrible, absolutely horrible. If it's real...I hope they throw that guy off a cliff. If it's fake...well, the throwing off the cliff option is still looking pretty good to be honest.

There is sepculation that the video was shot in Hawaii. If that is true, then it is possible it is fake. If they were in Iraq, where would they get such a realistic dog? There is no confirmation either way as to it's validity. It's all over the news now, so I am sure it will be figured out soon. Either way, it is sick.

I'm sorry but I take issue at what you have said here. The majority of US soldiers are decent, hard working people. Every group has its bad apples, but that doesn't make the entire group of people bad. Making statements like this is just as bad as racism, or discrimination against someone for their religion! Even if you don't support the war, support our soldiers. Most of them don't want to be there any more than you want them there. Many young men and women join the armed forces for many reasons. For the most part, it is not so they can go and kill, torture, etc indiscrimently. I feel very strongly on this point.

Anyone who stands up and boos a soldier in uniform, is not helping anything. I've seen this happen and I just want to go up to that person and slap him/her.

Now, that I've had my say on this:

This guy has problems! Anyone who would throw a puppy off a cliff, or even pretend to do so is a terrible person! I can't believe anyone would do such a thing. Absolutely horrible!

Looks totally fake. Someone metioned on the petioion that if you noticed, the yelps get louder as they go down. Its sick noetheless, but it was probaly a dead puppy. Already dead puppy that two sickos decied to make a video out of and add some sound effects. Still stupid though.

It may be real, I am just saying I think its fake. The puppy is defiantly real though, but probaly dead, as woudnt it be squirming? I have an 8 week old puppy and when I hold her like a civil person she squeals, let alone by the scruff.

I am sure Astrania didn't mean all American soldiers are this way, but the news footage that are usually shown are of U.S soldiers. Not saying soldiers from other country's don't do these barbaric things aswell, it's just not publicised as much.
I am not sure if this video is real or not, but on my news today after showing the puppy video, they showed video of soldiers throwing rocks at an injured dog, before it was able to get up enough strength to run away, then one soldier said "man that was the funniest thing I have ever seen". Then another video was shown of soldiers driving down a dirt road and a flock of sheep walking along the side of the road, the soldiers threw a grenade at the flock of sheep, blowing some of them up. Sadly all of these videos were American soldiers. Now like I said, other soldiers could be doing these types of horific things aswell, but they are not shown to the public as often, making it look really bad for the U.S soldiers.

Those soldiers who are out serving their country, should be ashamed of themselves! Whoever they are shame on you!

To compare what I said to racism or discrimination is very far fetched and highly insulting (especially to a person that has lived abroad integrated into a different culture, dated several different races).

If 'they' being those individuals - can inflict such cruelity on an animal imagine what they could do to humans. No mention of nationality, race, gender.

This is why I used grammar and split my sentences up.

We've seen plenty of videos of them abusing captives - meaning soldiers in general, and there is no denying there has been many, far too many in my opinion of soldiers abusing their powers.

Had I mentioned in my post something about the videos of abuse by British soilders (which is also far to rampant) I doubt this would of even raised an eyebrow. But I did not, because this cruelity was inflicted by American soldiers.

Nowhere did I mention 'all' or 'most' American soldiers. I am sure the majority of soldiers are not like the disgraceful human beings in the video.

This is very cruel! I hope those soldiers are caught! How did they get the poor little puppy in the first place?? I think that this is sickening, and is a disgrace! SHAME ON WHOEVER YOU ARE!!!
I hope they realize what they have done and that it is just about the worst thing you can do, throwing a poor innocent puppy off of a cliff!!!

I doubt it Ali. If the poor pup even survived the throw, it would have needed urgent medical treatment and it wouldnt have got that in the middle of nowhere.
