Paris Hilton claims to have 17 dogs, "they keep having babies..."

And yet another reason why I hate Paris Hilton. She said on the Ellen Degeneres Show that she has 17 dogs, and she has so many because "they keep having babies, and I feel bad about giving them away." Animal Services is investigating....hopefully she will go to jail or get banned from owning pets or something. We have to remember , no matter how much someone screws up there lives and others we shouldn`t hate them . I wish that something in her mind would just click to set her right. Her parents are probably the cause that this is happening to/with her. "here honey I`m to busy to do anything about it , just go buy something instead." Stars today may sicken us , but we can`t FULLY blame theme (even though we can blame them halfly )

I know you can't believe everything you read, but several months ago I was reading one of those trashy gossip magazines, a coworker always buys them and shares. Anyway, it said because Paris Hilton has so many dogs in her house it was absolutely filthy because of the dog feces. Of course I don't know if that's true, but from the dogs I've seen her carry around they all look like the small dogs that would be inside dogs. Could you imagine 17 dogs in the house, you know there's no way they would all he house broken.

I've seen shows like 'The Dog Whisperer', 'The Girls Next Door', 'Snoop Dogg's Fatherhood' and various American TV shows and it seems a trend to have lots of small untrained dogs wandering around their houses (pooping wherever they like) that don't get walked and were bought as a gift or because they were 'cute'. It's extremely selfish.

Sorry, but unless they are kept in bad conditions she is not a guilty of a crime and cannot be sent to jail. Hopefully she is breaking some kind of city or county code regarding the number of dogs she has. Ellen, being a supposed animal lover, should have called her out on it. I would have.

I think Paris may be exaggerating somewhat. And anyway, she's got bucket-loads of money. She could just pay someone to train her dogs and/or clean up the mess. Either that or she could just buy another house to escape the stink.

Okay maybe hate was a strong word, but my feelings are close enough. Shes a hypocritical annoying moose. She wears fur, gets told its wrong, stops for a month then wears it again. She keeps too many dogs and if it is true that most of them just simply keep having babies through each other thats sick. Fair enough things can be blamed on the parents/society and the list could go on but at the end of the day shes old enough to do her own research and know whats right and wrong.

Thats not really the point. She could also pay for someone to wipe her behind but doesnt mean she will or it's exactly right. If you own dogs you should be the one house training them, cleaning up their mess and controlling if they are giving birth or not, you can't just give the nasty jobs to other people because you are rich and too posh for the messy side of animals then walk the poor animals around in Tutus and god knows what because its cute and lovely and all things wonderfull thats not what pets are suppose to be about. It's not even about whether her house is clean, it's the dogs welfare with this whole giving birth thing - they just keep having babies? To me that suggests siblings etc having babies with each other?! = sickly dogs.
Its all very well saying she could pay for other peoples services but she can't pay for a sane persons sense clearly.

Char-x, I dearly hope that you did not take my post as some kind of defense for Paris Hilton. The dogs will not be living in unsanitary conditions because I doubt her house would be unsanitary because she can pay to have it cleaned. My comment was in response to fourboys4now's comment, "Anyway, it said because Paris Hilton has so many dogs in her house it was absolutely filthy because of the dog feces." Perhaps I should have quoted that so no one would think I was overlooking any other points in the thread. I didn't comment on anything else as I have nothing to say that would not just be repeating what someone else has already said.

I am not saying that if someone has money, it relieves them of responsibility towards animals they take into their care. Nothing relieves someone of these responsibilities.

I hope that what I read was just the usual untrue garbage they print when I was talking about the house condition. Hopefully she does have someone cleaning up the messes. But if they got her for having too many dogs in her house, I think her punishment should be to clean up the messes of the 17 dogs she has in her house!

I realised you didn't mean she could just pay people off but I just wanted to make sure anyone who reads this thread realises why she is such a spanner aswell and why shes not a cool role model of any sorts. Just another reason to dislike Paris Hilton.Have you heard in the news how many times she "loses" her dog? At least three! Possibly more! And she doesn't even care about finding them until someone else does! That just proves she is lazy! I mean, how do you lose a dog???

Ya, I guess hate would be a little extreme but I really dont like her, just like the song "Hate is a strong word but I really, really, really dont like you..." its by the Plain WhiteT's, the song is Hate(I really dont like you)

But I don't think that it should really matter who it is, it doen't change the fact that she is letting her 17 dogs breed seemingly out of control. Not to mention her other lack of basic pet owning skills.
