A happy news story. This firefighter went that extra mile to save a cat found in a burning house.

Re: Firefighter gives Cat CPR

I seen that on my news today, such a sweet person, to give c.p.r to an animal, not too many people would do it, exspecially in front of an audience. He did a great job!

P.S, I just noticed, if you look closley at the crest on his jacket sleeve, he is not a firefighter, he is with the Sherrifs department. I think that is extra sweet. You kind of expect if from a firefighter, but from an officer is different. So sweet.

I remember trying to give mouth to mouth to my hamster when he was dying - it didn't work btw. Then again I was probably like 11 years old at the time - but I tried!!

How nice to see happy news for a change! What a hero. If he did that for one of my pets, I would worship him for life. I would probably ask him to marry me, come to think of it.

Re: Firefighter gives Cat CPR

This is probably one of the few happy stories I have read posted in this section of the forum in months. :P When my tortoise went into shock from a tragic water bowl accident my dad tried to give him CPR with a straw. Which, unfortunately failed to suceed. God bless this man who went the extra mile to save a fortunate little kitty.
