That just infuriates me on a couple of levels. To do that to an animal is unforgivable, and to cause additional pain to that little autistic boy just makes it worse. I can't imagine what he's going through right now, having something he depends upon taken away from him like that. It's traumatic to a normal child, let alone one with autism.

I'm glad to see that Bob's getting better. Go Bob! We're all pulling for you.
