What complete idiots. I'd like to give not only the woman, but the boyfriend, AND the animal control officers a piece of my mind. Purchasing the woman a new dog, and even worse, legally allowing her to have it, is possibly the most obscenely stupid thing they could have done.

What a despicable woman. She'll no doubt get a sorry excuse for a punishment too. Not being allowed to keep pets again, for basically murdering one of them! If she'd have thrown one of her children under the car, she'd be facing a prison sentence. She should at least get that for killing the puppy. An her children should certainly be taken away from her, she's clearly a danger to them!

Oh my god, that woman should not be allowed to have the children or animals..all because she didn't want the boyfriend to leave??? No wonder he was trying to get away from her, shes insane! It simply amazes me that she has another dog! Who are these people??????

That is just...HORRIBLE! Who in their right mind would throw a puppy under a tire to just stop her boyfriend going away. How insane! It is truely sad knowing that there are people like that that could do something that mean to an animals. I feel guilty everytime I just cut the guineapigs nails wrong and accidentally hit the quick. "She loved the puppy like a child" ...obviously not if she PUT IT UNDER A TIRE!!! It just sickens me that there are people out there like that.

People like this make me so angry. Today I was watching animal police on animal planet; there was a lady who put her dog in the back of her trunk and 'dumped' her in the middle of the street. The cops confronted her, she said she didn't care, that it was just an animal.

There is a song from Nickelback called "Never Again." They say "She's just a lady." Why don't we think of animals like that when they're being abused? A LOT of people don't give a cavy poo about animals. There is another song called "If Everyone Cared" that is by Nickelback. If you really think about it, the song can be applied to animals, too, the way a ton of people don't care about them, and how many would live a way longer life without humans killing them.

According to the AZ Republic, the woman's children were placed into CPS custody.

So, she's not allowed to have her children because she endangered them, but she can have a new puppy even though she had one killed. That's some smart reasoning.
