I dislike that Peta caved in on Petco in their previous campaign, when they are usually worse than Petsmart.

Petdumb is one of the worst pet stores around my area. i don't know if Pet Supplies Minus or Petdumb is worse. The hermit crab conditions in Petdumb are horrible. They have these tiny rocks that can really hurt the hermit crabs' insides. I've sent a few e-mail complaints about their humidity. They got humidity gauges, but the humidity wasn't even 30 when I was there the one time! Their humidity gauge was even upside down .

Also, from what I remember of that store, the guinea pigs were in tiny tank things maybe about as big as a 10 gallon aquarium length-wise. I forget exactly how they were.

I've been hearing terrible stories about Petco, but the Petco around here isn't as bad as Pet Supplies Minus or Petdumb. The only thing bad about the Petco around here is that the cages are too small, like every pet store around the US.

I just sent the e-mail. I didn't realize there was an e-mailing thing. I only said that I wouldn't shop there until their conditions get better, though, because I doubt they'll completely end their business of selling animals. I'm never going to buy anything until their pet store conditions are improved.

The petdumb here sucks. They don't even do anything about my complaints. They just lost a few customers.

I have sent an e-mail. My local Petsmart isn't bad but they do still keep guinea pigs and rabbits together. They even say in their leaflet not to keep the two species together.
