Buttercup passed last night

my sons cavie Buttercup passed last night. She was a sweet heart and will be missed.

I'm sorry to hear that. Was she the one with the ruptured eye?

yeah but that had healed. She was 8 or 9 so I think she just was old. She was fine all day yesterday, weeking and purring but when I went to feed them this morning there she was.

Oh, I am so sorry for your loss. That is a ripe old age, though. I am glad you enjoyed her company all those years, but I know you will still miss her a lot.
