My lovely little Safi passed on today

Safi and Zaria came to me about two years ago. They had been at an animal shelter in the city and were really scared. I gave them a big c&c house, and an outdoor, grass space, and fed them all organic and just loved them so much. Safi seemed ill on occasion but always seemed to get better before I could find a vet. She popcorned and wheaked and snatched her cucumbers out of my hand like a beast. She was sweet, talkative and cute, cute, cute. Three days ago she was spunky and active. Then yesterday morn she seemed lethargic and I put her and her friend out on the grass. Usually she runs about nibbling but she hid away in her hidey house and just watched the world go by. Her appetite diminished and this morning would not take her favorite veg. She seemed small and frail and I petted her and talked to her through the morning and then one moment she was gone. We had known it would be her time soon. I think she was an older pig when I got her. We wrapped her up, buried her and planted bamboo over her.
I put her girlfriend, Zaria out in her grassy area for the day and I do not know how the loss will affect her.
I love and miss Safi. She was my sweet little baby. Goodbye Safi....

I'm so sorry! That always seems so lame to say-I wish I had better words, cause I know how much it hurts. It sounds like you were a great Mom.
Just picture her sitting on a cloud at Rainbow bridge chowing down on all the cucumbers her little heart desires!
