Mousey passed away at the vet's yesterday, at 5 years 8 months. The vet said her lungs were in such bad shape, it was either cancer or pneumonia.

We had hoped Mousey would stay with us a little longer, but she had to go.

We love you very much Mousey. Go find your mommy under the Rainbow Bridge. Eat lots of hay and veggies, and run around. Go find your mommy. We love you.

Mousey thanks all on Guinea Cages who have listened to her story and helped make her life better and more comfortable, especially to Ly for lots of fresh veggies, and Kleenmamma for good hay and pellets, and for the soft fleece and cozies which she loved.

I am very sorry for your loss. It looks like you were a terrific care taker of her and nothing can be better than that.

Wheekypigs, my heart goes out to you. What a wonderful tribute of pictures of her, she was just beautiful. I know to well the pain of loosing a beloved lil' piggie. I get a break from the pain when I think back of how well my pigs are cared for, the love and compassion, freedom to roam their home in a safe, clean environment where they're not abused and put in a position to suffer. You, very obviously, gave Mousey and excellent home and gave her all of your love, she lived a long time, a really long time because you cared for her so well. I believe that our bodies are like shells like a walnut, when you break it open you find the seed...a soul, and although the shell is broken, the seed continues on. Mousey may have passed but her soul, energy will never die, she lives on free from pain in a place where there's joy and happiness.
God bless you little Mousey, you'll never be forgotten.

I'm so sorry for your loss and that you didn't get to have her around for a while longer. She's happy she had you though and she was definitely a trooper!

Thank you everyone, I really appreciate the support.

I buried Mousey this morning, with some of her favorite foods.

She'll be very happy under the bridge with her mommy snowy. They were very close.
