Our Little Buddy Rufus

You are gone, but will never be forgotten little man.

You fought a long, courageous battle through all the testing, medications, and hand-feeding.

Your heart was weak, but your spirit was strong.





We miss you so badly. You were our little buddy who never complained and took everything in stride.

May we be more like you as we remember you and give thanks for, not only having you in our life, but for being able to give you a better life.

Rest in Peace baby, and know that you left a huge hole in our life and hearts. We love you.

Thank you theresaj. It hurts very badly.

I had to hand-feed him Critical Care, pureed lettuce/green pepper, Pedialyte, and pellet mash every 2-3 hours around the clock for 2 months. Needless to say, we got very bonded in that amount of time (my husband called us the "siamese twins").

His heart was just not strong enough for the meds to work.

That really sucks.
But the good thing is, is that you bonded with him and you were with him the whole time so he didn't have to suffer. You are really a great piggy slave and they are VERY lucky to own you.
