Theo died last Wednesday, but I just got home from a college trip earlier today, I will be picking up his body from the vet tomarrow so that he may be properly burried.
Wednesday my friend/petsitter called me frantic saying Teddy wasn't moving and he had been twitching and seizuring when she walked in. After three frantic, long distance (I was in MI at the time, I live in NY) calls to vet offices near my house I found one that was open and would look at guinea pigs. I then called my friend back and instructed her on how to pick up Theodore and where to take him. Minutes later the vet called, they had tried a glucose IV, and several other things, but he didn't make it.
Fortunatly, Winston (my other guinea) is doing alright, though he really misses his buddy. He will be going to the vet tomarrow to make sure nothing is wrong with him.
I really miss my little Teddy. I got him in January from an owner who wasn't taking care of him properly. He seemed perfectly normal on Tuesday...Goodbye Theodore Roosevelt I love you buddy
