Chuckles passed away.

My second guinea pig, Chuckles passed away last night. I think he was about 6 years old. I took him out of his cage and gave him floor time, and he seemed OK. When I was walking into my room to go to bed, I looked in his cage and saw his lifeless body. His health had been declining within the past few months though, so I pretty much knew it was coming. It was getting harder for him to get around the cage, his eyesight was almost gone and he was having bad impaction problems. I do know that I provided him with a good life for the last few months he was around. When I first rescued him from the kiddie area at work, he was the most pathetic looking creature I had ever seen. With a proper diet and a better cage he flourished for a long time. He will be missed.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm glad he lived a long and happy life and i'm sure he is too. May he rest in peace and be up at the Rainbow Bridge where he no longer has to suffer and gets to popcorn 24/7.
