Neutral : +1 (+1/-0) She was fine until yesterday, my boyfriend told me that she didn't come out from the wooden house for her parsley at lunch time. When I went home after work, she was very cold a stiff but still alive. We took her straight away to the vet and he was lovely and very kindly put her in an incubator to keep her warm and gave her some antibiotics. They just called me to say she passed away during the night but she didn't seem to suffer and was peaceful. I am so upset, but glad that my boyfriend understands and is giving me lots of support. Now, I am a bit worried about Toffee, Treacle's sister, I don't know if I can get another piggie just yet. I am pregnant and we are moving house so I don't want to get another pig at least until we are settled in the new home, that might be April-May. Is there anything I can do in the meantime so she doesn't get to lonely? Thansk a lot. |

Sorry to hear about Treacle, hope you are ok. You could try Toffee with a teddy bear - something to cuddle up to. |

Thanks, its a good idea, but I think she would just eat the teddy bear! She munches on everything and I don't give them anything stuffed anymore as I am not sure if it is safe. They only have safe wooden toys. Oooooooh I should say she. It hasn't still sink in. |

Aw, i'm sorry. You can try giving Toffee extra laptime and attention. |

Yes, last night I couldn't sleep and went to the living room where she is. She was making this little noises so picked her up and cuddled in my dressing gown, she just started munching on it so I put her back on the cage. I didn't give them a lot of lap time because they would keep munching our clothes or the towel that we held them with. I came here to see why they do that and what could I do but nothing worked. |
