Gordon was my first guinea pig. He lived to the age of about 4 3/4 years old, but then the accident happened. I went to bed after giving Gordon and Squeekie their food and hay. I said good night to them and went to bed. When I woke up, he was dead! When I looked at him, his head was tilted at a very steep angle along his side. I picked him up and he was stiff. I checked for a pulse. There was none. His body was positioned next to a heavy toy in the cage.I am not a doctor, but my assumption is that he died by breaking his neck on his log house. To this day I miss him very much. I still say good night to him. I hope he can still hear me. And I hope Squeekie misses him as much as I do. |

No, it was Gordon who died. But I am sure Squeekie died a little on the inside that sad day. |

My bad for posting yesterday after a looong trip. Deeply ashamed. I reread everything, yes, I am sorry for your loss. For Gordon, who went to Piggie Heaven. I hope Squeekie will be fine and will find comfort in you for now, and you in him. Anything you need to make the pain easier, just ask. |
