 My Sunshine went to The Bridge a few hours ago. It was so quick. He was the best, sweetest, cuddliest, most wonderful Guinea Pig there ever was and I really don't know how I'm going to be able to stand not having him in my life. He's been my best friend for 4 1/2 years. I know he's in a wonderful place where he's happy, safe and healthy with his brother and lots of new friends, but I selfishly miss him so much. R.I.P. My Heart Love. I'll love and miss you forever. I promise to be strong and take good care of your other brother, Cotton. He really misses you, too...keeps looking for you. We love you. That's all I keep trying to picture...all the stuff he's doing up at The Bridge as a young, healthy guy with his brother (they were such buddies) and all his other new friends. That's the only thing that stops my tears. Another thing that upsets me is how many people say "it was only a guinea pig. It's not like it was a dog or a cat!" I'm not a violent person, but I swear, I'm really resisting the urge to clobber some people! |

Oh I'm so sorry. Losing a pig doesn't hurt any less than losing another animal just if they're smaller. They still have such personality and have you wrapped around their little finger. |
