This morning I came out to check on my piggies and discovered that Mamma was laying funny, half in her cubby half out. I lifted it off of her and she was convulsing as if she could not breath. I called for my partner and she started to call the vet but before we could do much more she had passed away.
We had gotten Mamma and two of her adult babies just a couple of days after Thanksgiving this year and soon discovered she was pregnant.
Mamma delivered 5 babies (which i thought was alot) on December 17th.
She was a beautiful creature, We loved her very much even though we had her such a short time. She was very active and curious and LOVED carrots and much attention. She will be greatly missed, but her legacy lives on through her little ones. May we do her justice.
