In Memory of Pepper

It's been a year today since my sweet little hamster, Peppy, passed away. I miss her so much and still think about her every day.

She was an amazing girl, such a sweetie, didn't bite, liked attention, loved treats (veggies, yoghurt, organic cheerios and such) and was just such a darling. I was absolutely devestated when I found she had passed in her sleep. She had been doing so, so well until a few weeks before her death. She was still running around, lively, and well. You wouldn't think she was getting to be a senior. She just suddenly slowed down a lot, she was still comfortable, just slept more and pottered around instead of running. I'm crying just writing this, she was so great and had so much personality, so friendly. Rest in peace little baby girl. I loved you to death.

Aw, what a sweet little girl you had. She knows that you loved and cared for her.
I love to think back to all my pets in the past, all the good memories, fun times, and pictures. I just think that i'm so glad to have those memories with that little friend, I couldn't imagine my life without my best friend.

Thank you both. I am obviously less saddened now than a year ago, when I wouldn't have even been able to bring myself to type this. I have tonnes and tonnes of pictures of her, so I am thankful I can still look back at them. I can still smile and remember her funny moments and things that she did, which helps.

I'm so sorry. He was an adorable little hamster.
For me time never heals. I'm still just as broken hearted about our dog which we had to put down over a year ago as I was the day he was put down.
