I Love You So Much

I love you so much Shady, too much for words. It's so hard to type with my fingers trembling so much. Shady, you left too soon. I wanted you to be there forever, but I guess I had to realize that one day you would have to go to the five star pet palace in the sky.

When I got home ten minutes ago, I found Shady, my (late) gorgeous girl, lying on her tummy unmoving. I knew something was wrong when I went up the stairs and didn't hear happy wheeking. I'm still sobbing, but trying to get over it. Psh, like that's possible. I miss her so much. It's so painful and I feel empty. I need to recover from this and...and... I don't know. I don't think I can adopt another guinea pig, but I need to take care of Midnight too. I love her so much, but what happened to Shady is such a shock that it's hard to think of anything else. I got so attatched to her, particularly because she helped me recover from a very difficult time in my life.

I'm so sorry. It takes alot of guts to come on here so soon and say this. Shady sounded like a charming pig. I came across my piggie George, who was my first piggie ever, the same way as you. That was almost 3 years ago, and I still miss him. What's important is that she lived a wonderful life, because of having a care taker who loved her so sweetly as you did.

Hello, I am new here, but not new to loss. You should remember that you provided such a great home for her, her life was good. It has been a year since we lost our friend, but we still sit and talk about her , and tear up and miss her so much. Take care-cry when you need to, but remember you were a good piggy parent. And maybe there is someone else out there who needs you to love them as much as you loved Shady!

Aw I'm so sorry for your loss. I agree with Frashy, that did take alot of guts to come on here. And don't worry about getting another piggie so soon. Midnight has to have a greiving time ,too.

At least in her life she knew love and also knew how to give it when you were needing it. Now she's running up in parsley feilds with all the other guinea pigs. I'm very sorry for your loss.

I have no idea how you had the courage to come on here ten minutes after she died. I know how bad it hurts, but that proves what a strong person you are. I'm so sorry for your loss. May your warm, loving memories ease your pain and never forget the love you shared and the wonderful home that you provided for Shady.

Thank you everybody. Midnight is my bunny, and fortunately she didn't know Shady that well because she is a fairly new addition to the family. I still miss Shady so very much, but I am healing. Midnight is only about seven months, so she has a long, happy life ahead of her. RIP, my baby.
