Goodbye, Wicket

I don't normally post too much. However, tonight I had to put one of my babies down tonight. I came home from work to find Wicket on her side, barely breathing. After a lot of crying and an emergency run to the vet, we had to put her down because of heart failure. She was only 3.5 years old, and was really bouncy and happy last night before I went to bed.

I've really had a lot of problems keeping it together tonight. The vet is holding her until I can take her home to my parent's house and give her a proper burial.
rest in peace, Wicket. I love you sweetie.

Re: Goodbye, Wicket

I'm so sorry to hear that. Do you plan on putting Wicket in your parent's garden?
My girlfriend and I planted yellow roses over the place we buried her cockatiel. I was very close with this girlfriend and cried when her bird passed. Yellow roses smell the sweetest of the roses and they matched the sunny color and disposition of Kippa bird.

Yes. The vet has offered to hold her until I figure out when I am going to my parents' house. They have a little cemetary like set up in the backyard for a few of our pets. So that's sweet of them.
