Unhappy RIP Squeak

I don't know if I'm allowed to post hamsters here, but I might as well.

R.I.P. 22/04/008, Squeak. An honorable dwarf hamster.
-
Squeak was the best hamster I could ever ask for. He wasn't what you would call happy-go-lucky, or even sensitive. He was a very protective, very vicious hamster who would be calm and quiet out of his cage. He was my favorite of all (no offense to Kiox or Patch) and, because of that, I always made sure that he had something new daily.
-
Squeak came to me just over a year ago, two summers before, to be exact. My first hamster, Zippy (RIP), being the eldest Syrian we had (we had 3, one my brother's, and two mine), had died days earlier. Another hamster, Chaos, died a day or two later - he had come home to us with URI. I wasn't even expecting a hamster; heck, I didn't want one. But my mom came home from work holding something. I wasn't sure what it was; from where I had been standing it looked like just a little carrier for hamsters. I wanted to cry because, well, I had lost my hamster. When my mother brought the carrier upstairs to me, I saw two tiny balls of fluff moving. She said, "Here's Pip and Squeak--Pipsqueak." The name stuck, but Pip died not to long after. (RIP)
-
My little dwarfy faced a lot. He was up against the cold winter, which seemed ever-so much colder because my house is never exactly warm (unless it's summer/spring). He was the surviver while my Syrian fell into hibernation (and thankfully lived). He had trouble with my cat, but fended him off with tooth and claw. He was smacked by my cat once, and survived. Only one thing came up that he could not compete with.... The day he died, he wouldn't drink or eat; he would not move. He was breathing, though. I did my best to help him, yet... He died. Bless his soul.
-
The last moment I remember sharing with him was sitting alone in my room, crying, as he lay in my hands, forever still. And even though you try to think of happy things, it's always hard not to cry.

Rest in Peace my little trooper, I will never forget you.
