My darling Lucy

[FONT=Verdana]My darling Lucy lost a battle with kidney failure. I found her this morning in her sleep sak. We had been fighting this for a few days now. Lucy was old for a skinny pig. She was 4 years old. Her sister Ethel is doing ok but I know she will be lonely. Lucy and Ethel are my pride and joy, I love all my piggies of course but my hairless girls just touched my heart.[/FONT]
[FONT=Verdana]I first met Lucy and Ethel at a rescue friend’s house in Virginia. I went to visit her rescue and she had them there. She was caring for them because a neighbor boy had them and couldn't care for them. I saw those girls and it was Lucy that I held and put in the pocket of my jacket. I told her that she wanted to go home with me. Well last December, I got a call from her and she asked if I was interested in the girls. Of course I was and they were my Christmas present last year. [/FONT]
[FONT=Verdana]Lucy, I love you and miss you already. Tell Vickie to keep you in her jacket pocket until I get there. Don't let Lando and Wilbur give you a hard time. You are too old for those young bucks! Jack is a gentleman and he will watch out for you. I Love You Lucy! Love, Mommy[/FONT]

That was really nice what you wrote. I almost cried. That might be because I was thinking of hard it is to write these "In memory of" post. I already did one for my baby boy Sammy. RIP Sammy and Lucy. I hope they make friends in heaven!
