Grover was my beautiful little white piggy. I adopted him, along with Nick, from a rescue in August of 2004. Grover had heart disease and it feels as though he left us too soon. Grover was always very easy-going and gentle. He loved sweet-tasting things and fresh outdoor smells. He could out-drink any other piggy I have ever known. He never talked much, but would occasionally say hello every so quietly. He was never afraid of me (didn't run away) and loved to cuddle up close under my chin. Grover would sometimes back his hind end up to the bars of the cage and scratch himself, moving his head back and forth as he itched his backside. Whenever he did this we liked to say, "Grover's Groovin'!" I loved Grover and gave him the best life I knew how. I miss my little white piggy.       |

Yes they are, I lost my Damien in Jan. and my baby Mikie in Aug. I can`t really say I`m over them, they sorta creep into your heart and stay there. |

It was one year ago tomorrow that my sweet little white pig passed away. I miss him terribly and so wish that things could have been different. If I had known then what I know now... But the experience with Grover hopefully has helped me to be a better piggy parent for Nick and Oscar. I miss you, little guy. |
