Alina- my poor little rescue

Alina was rescued from a barn in PA a year ago. Horrible, horrible conditions- over 130 little pigs, others dead etc etc. They were being raised for "food". She was very young when she had her first litter, and when I agreed to foster her she was tiny, had no back hair and looked awful. With wonderful food and care she grew into a HUGE sleek girl. She remained very, very shy. It was hard to tell her behavior, as she would eat in her hut- I think she wasn't eating as much the last day- but I did see her chomping. I found her dead tonight. I wish I knew what happened- she was young and seemed healthy (I cut her nails and held her on Sunday).
She was named after Alina Cojacareu of the Royal Ballet.

So sorry to hear bad news about your girl Alina. At least you know you rescued her and used all your means to get her back to full health and happiness.
