Unhappy See you at the rainbow bridge Hazel and Milly

I'm so gutted. I was still grieving for Hazel when yesterday I found my favourite pig Milly had died. She passed peacefully in her sleep, with her eyes closed. I don't understand as she hadn't been ill and had been her usual cheery self. There will never be another pig like Milly, she was so friendly. running to the front of the cage and squeaking whenever I was nearby. If it wasn't for my kids and my other pigs I would want to die too. These last 3 weeks have been awful starting with Dylan, my rabbit dying then Hazel had to be euthanised on Sunday as her legs had become to arthritic to stay on her feet. I've also had lots of other bad stuff happening, I feel like my life is cursed but now that Milly's gone I feel a sick empty feeling in my stomach and I can't deal with the mundanities of everyday life at the moment. I just wish I could go to the rainbow bridge and be with all my passed pigs.

I'm so grateful to everyone on this forum who gave me support throughout Hazels last few days and passing. You are awesome. I don't read the memorial threads often as I find it too upsetting but my heart goes out to everyone who's lost a pig even if I don't post in the thread.

Hazel (left) and Milly

Oh Maisie, I'm truly sorry to read that you lost both your precious piggies. They both looked beautiful. ((Hugs))

Oh, Maisie...hugs hugs hugs. I am so sorry you're experiencing all this grief at once. We are here for you, for anything you need. Your piggies are having tons of fun in piggie heaven, and I know Hazel isn't in pain anymore. You did the right thing with her, love.

I`m so sorry for your loss, it will get better and you won`t cry everytime you think of your babies.I know what you mean about wanting to die also, I felt the same way when my Mikie died, but my husband reminded me I had two more guy`s that neeed me and so did he.So I have my private and not so private Mikie moment`s when I break down but I now have the moment`s when I share a story about him and smile. So be strong and think of the good time`s.If you want someone to talk to drop me a line.

Re: See you at the rainbow bridge Hazel and Milly

Milly looks just like my girl Zoey that I lost several months ago, same exact markings, she was also my favorite. I lost her to cancer. I know how you feel, I cried myself to sleep over animals more than once and I've still got 21 more (oh, man) it's going to hurt but I find comfort in the ones that are left to help me bare the pain. Take Care and know they are in a better place waiting for you.
