Here is the story of Toffee the guinea pig, who sadly died before his first birthday. He seemed like he was in good health, but I came to him one morning to find him sick. He could not stand up and had slow breathing. We rushed him to a vet, to find his tempurature very low. We got his tempurature up to the correct level, and he was getting better, and could move his front legs, but he kept moaning and dragging his back legs. He then suddenly had a heart attack and died. He died on the 9th April, a month after we had him. The vet thinks he had a weak heart condition.  (Toffee is the stripey guinea pig.The one on the right is Smudge.) Goodbye Toffee. In your short life you were brilliant. Rest In Peace.       |
