| I am so very sad Lilly was the first guinea pig I had, she was the lovey one, the one that came running when I called them for floor time or veggies. I did not notice anything, last night we had floor time and them when Hannah went back in the cage Lilly laid with me in bed for about a half hour, and then she went back to the cage. She ate her veggies yesterday and everything. When I put her back in the cage she went straight to her cozy cavy bed and plopped down under her blanket, I remember thinking to myself, Poor little girl had a good workout tonight! I got up this morning and came in the room and as always started calling them from the door way, Hannah started talking to me and all the boys were waiting for me, but no Lilly....as I walked closer to the cage I saw her still in her bed, still under her blanket....I knew right away something was wrong.. Somtime in the night my little Lilly went to the bridge... I don't know if I missed something last night, I am so good with them and can see something not right right away, I am beside myself thinking I missed the chance to help her.. I will miss her so much... |

| Re: I am so very sad Take comfort in knowing you gave her a wonderful life. I'm sure she was very happy with you, don't dwell on what you could of done or if you missed anything. You need to know that lilly would never want you thinking that way. Be there for your other cavies and remember lilly will always be alive in your heart and mind. She loved you and remember and cherish that love always. R.I.P lilly may you rest in peace. |
