I lost Gracie and Jesse lost Roo

2 or 3 days ago my son's gerbil Roo passed away.

I just found my hamster Gracie dead in her cage.
I don't know what happened, she was fine this afternoon when I gave her fresh food and water.

Jesse's other gerbil Squirrly is doing fine and my gerbil Jirby is doing fine.

Thanks everyone. It hit me hard, but not as hard as when my Puffy passed. I guess I was afraid to let myself get as close to her as I did Puffy. I do miss her so much though.

Just think Ly! They're probably hanging out with my grandma, my dog, cat and Lola. I have visions of my grandma standing on a cloud with Roxie (my doberman) on one side of her and my cat, Alex, on her other side. She's holding Lola and Mama's baby who died (we named her Honey). She'll watch over Roo and Gracie too.

It may sound odd but it comforts me to know that they're well taken care of.
