Hey, what do you have to do to become a "cavy slave" on this website?

To make sure a Piggy is going to a good owner I come do a home visit and see the way they house and feed their other Pig(s) if they own others. If they don't own other Pigs then I will come back to their house in 2 weeks to check up on the adopted Piggy. Then I will come back later to see how everything's going or have them e-mail me with updates, pictures, etc. I haven't had any problems so far. I also help them build a c&c cage if they don't know how and educate them the best I can about how important it is to give daily veggies/fruit, space, Vitamin C, etc. All my Pigs have gone to excellent homes so far!

Yeah, very dedicated . Yes must be loooaads! I follow one of the veggie menus off a forum, and I thought that was amazing on how much they eat! (and thanks to this website I do know now ) Well done on doing a recue center as well, what do you do to make sure a piggy is going to a owner who knows how to look after them properly? Do you have to go round their houses or something? (I like your profile picture! I love piggies all together, like there cuddling up, they are all so cute )

Hey, I saw your comment on my profile. Caring for 10 Piggies isn't very hard, but you must be dedicated to it. I have people that volunteer with me because I work alongside the Humane Society in my area where they call me if they have any piggies. I run a small independent rescue that takes in 1-2 Guinea pigs at a time. But my 10 Piggies are all rescued, so it's worth everything, but I can say: 10 Guinea Pigs = A LOT of fruits/veggies!
