    Um, I am a new owner, so... I really do not know that much about them but I do know one thing for sure... I really do not like how the local pet store treats them. They had 10 pigs in one medium size cage.. I got Xander as a 'pig kit' aprox 6 sq feet
    My Cage
    about 5.7 -6 sq feet. Closed, med. animal cage from pet store.
    My Cage Specs
    Planning on making a bigger cage, Pet Store Purchased Cage, in use, Meet or exceed recommended sizes (see www.CavyCages.com)
