No and I'm really surprised. I want to talk to him about it and possibly some lasix incase his breathing gets noisey again.

He's the only guinea pig competent vet in the county. He may refer me to the Monterey Vet and that's a three hour drive. I'm not worried about the drive or anything Ijust want maybe another antibiotic and at the very least a culture done to figure out what it is.

I've called today and yesterday the vet tech called to ask how he was doing. I was like well the Dr. never called me back and he is not improving as well as I would like.

I hope so, I'm trying my best. This darn vet won't call me back though. I'm getting really discouraged. I might take him to a vet in Monterey.

hand sanitizer is good as long as it has a lot of alcohol, but should be anti-microbial.
No fan club, poor guy isn't doing so well. I'm getting really frustrated.

your immune system could be a little weaker, especially if you have had a secondary respiratory infection that is bacterial. Colds are typically viral just like the flu. Just practice good hand washing techniques and don't use anti-bacterial soap. Don't touch your nose, mouth and eyes.
