My mini herd's cage is now a 3x5 with the 2x2 hay bin on the side as an "L" shape....
It's forever changing! This cage has been a 2x4, 2x4 with 1x2 loft, 2x5, 2x5 with 1x2 Hay bin on the side, 2x4 with 1x2 hay on the side and a 1x2 bunkbed on the side to a 3x5, a 3x5 with a 2x2 loft, 3x5 with a 2x3 loft, and a 3x5 with a 2x5 loft...Phew!!

So a lady who helps with the NZ Rat Rescue ordered a rat hammock from me, and any way in the last rat rescue they'd left a male self black there...the owner said they could take him as well but they didn't.
Anyway.
I emailed her asking if the self black she'd talked about on the Rat forum had gotten a home *not knowing they hadn't picked him up* and she said...
I didnt take him, hes still with the old owner but she did ask me if i wanted him. i can get him for you if u want but

Chester (Was called Theo) has joined the rescue after his young owner lost interest in him.

The boy was born around june/july 2009. When he got dropped off, he had mattes in his hair, way over grown toe nails, boy parts were just a mess (that was a stinky job!).

I had to quickly get to work and give him a bath (Dirt was everywhere on the poor guy), mega hair cut because of all the mattes, nails clipped and boy parts cleaned (4 years worth of icky stuff stunk!).
