Hello all! I have not been on this site regularly in sometime because I try to leave my computer off as much as possible (I never get off once it is on!). Anyway I thought I would do an update blog.<BR><BR>The piggie girls are doing great! Penelope has started this habit of chewing off the coroplast and Tiger Lily has joined her. So not exactly a guinea pig but same family!
They other day (Wednesday) we had some powerful winds, I believe they were up to 45 miles an hour. Well I have been keeping track of a squirrel family as they have been stealing stuffing from our patio furniture to make their nest. ANYWAY, the wind knocked their nest completely apart.

Yesterday my father and I went to buy another bale of hay (I always have atleast 2 in the garage at once!) I like to think I have trained him well. First he remarked how crappy most of the hay in the petstores are (said we should bag the stemmy bits from our bale and sell it to the stores) and second he agreed that what you get was not worth the money! We pay $5.75 for a 40lb-50lb bale and like 48oz of Oxbow hay was $22. You do the math!

I am sooo happy! I have had my 2 recent girls for almost a year now! Seems like just yesterday I was driving down the highway to get them!
Today whilst cleaning their cage I had an amazing break through! Penelope my little spazz who hates being touched or approached LET me touch her today! She sniffed my hand and let me stroke her (well before Tiger came over to hog the love), she has been warming up recently and this is awesome!

For those of you who don't know, Missouri has bipolar weather, one day its cold, the next day it's warm then it snows then it's warm again.
