Thank you for your comment. I wished we could keep all five, but we will propably keep the 3 boys and find a good home for Miss Daisy and Tulip. Miss Daisy has long hair. She is always with her female pup Tulip. If we keep all boys , we won't have to neuter Crusoe, which I was worried about. I have found out it is a risk and surgery must be tough on a little guinea pig.
My 3 are girls, my partner's 2 are boys
Hello , Thank you for your nice message. And also for checking out our triplets. We are totally in awe of these miniature wonders ! The family of 4 is on Oxbow performance pellets and alfalfa hay from KM's. I have new black grids and have ordered black coroplast for a 3x5 cage. I am hoping that will be big enough for Miss Daisy, her daughter Tulip and Crusoe. I can't wait to have him neutered to let him be with the others. We are giving him extra cuddle time. He is so sweet ! I had to put him in a different room though, he kept sqealing super loud each time he heard the gang of 4. We do not celebrate christmas but thank you. have a wonderful rest of the week. Have a wonderful day.
Hello! Sorry, I've just come here to see your new babies' pics and seen your message to me! It sounds like you and your pigs are doing great - and now you have babies! StandsForTreats is about 3.5 years old, but I've only had him a year (he was rehomed from a teenager on Craigslist.) Your babies are completely adorable! Congratulations to you and Miss Daisy and Merry Christmas!
Yes I am loving the fleece and they do too ! It is so much easier. Sorry your piggie passed away. I know you miss him. Getting a new friend for StandsForTreats will be a joyful occasion. I never knew one could love a guinea pig so much ! I just got done taking care of them. Cleaning their litterboxes, fresh water and pellets, alfalfa hay and parsley and green salad. Crusoe is getting tamer by the day. He seems to enjoy getting massaged behind his ears when I feed him. They are in the same room in separate cages, so they talk to each other at times, even though Miss Daisy likes being without him right now. Still waiting for the birth of the pups. If she has a female pup we will keep it. Well, I am not sure if i can part with any , once they are here . How old is StandsFor Treats ? Talk to you later and thank you for the encouraging message.
It sounds like things are going great and you have it all under control! Fleece is wonderful - once you get the hang of using it and washing it, etc, you will never go back to other bedding! My pigger, StandsForTreats, is doing well :-). (I only have one pig at the moment, as my Squeaksalot (the black and white one in my pics) passed away a couple of months ago. StandsForTreats seems to like being a lone pig just now, but I haven't ruled out the possibility of getting him a friend in the new year!
Thanks so much for the nice message! I was just thinking of you today and wondering how things were going! I stopped by your page to see if you had any updates! ;-)
Thanks so much! I love them too ;-) Nice to meet someone from Delaware Welcome to the forum!
