I honestly don't think it'd be good for us to get more pigs right now, but I'm keeping my mind open. We may end up fostering soon, as I'm volunteering at Animal Services and they get pigs every now and again.

They ARE the sweetest pets, James says he hasn't felt this attached to an animal since his childhood dog- and his family has had plenty of pets since then. I'm going to pick up my sister-in-law in an hour, so thank you very much for the well wishes. I'm hoping that I dog proofed my cage well enough! :/

Oh Tessa that is so cute. I really think the soft hearted guys fall for these lovely babies. If you can afford to get another one or two, I always say yes. If we owned our own house and had the money I would have like every available space given over to these little ones. I wouldnt have them to adopt out , I would want them all for myself.LOL Maybe that is a sickness!!!!!!
I truely think the piggies are the sweetest pets. My hubby just said tonight that they were the best pet to ever have. Tell James not to resist the " spell of the guinea pigs". Maybe there is some little one out there who really needs you.

Remember how you said your husband was trying to squeeze in more room for pigs? Guess what James confessed to me last night while I was skimming petfinder and craigslist... he wants to adopt more, but he's resisting! Ha! ;P

I'm so happy for you and your piggy. Did you name your baby yet? If you have any questions when its time to launder just ask. Did you figure out what to use for a hayrack yet? I am not crazy about the hay at all in the cages. I wish they didnt need it so bad. It just makes such a mess. My large cage has the kitchen area so that doesnt get messy, but I am still trying to figure out the other cages, they are just too small, I dont want to take up the little room they have with a kitchen area. We are going to be rebuilding everything again, I will let you know what we come up with. Take care.

Heyy! Thanks! Her eyes are looking a lot better! I am so thankful! If it comes back I am going to go to the vet right away! I am very curious as to what it was, but at least its gone! I have a guinea pig book thing and it said that what she has will usually run its course and then leave. I am about to go transfer to fleece, wait it might need one more washing...my mom has been washing it for me. Once my pig gets pee and poo on it though...she will not be of any help!!
