Yes. We all know that adopting is the best way to go. I admit, that i tried to adopt, but it never worked out. I tried to adopt a piggie from New Jersey, but they never responded, same with the rescue from the other pair of piggies i tried to adopt. So when the local pet store had a pregnant mom, i waited. And waited, and finally, the 2 piggies were born. And that is how i got my PennylouBut, there are alot of piggie shelters that need help. One in particular is the CT critter connection....

Ok. So i have my piggy, Penny Lou. I was watching another guinea pig at my house, named Lola. Her and Penny Had their cages next to each other, and every thing was fine. I put them together for a little bit, and they were also fine. Yesterday, Lola tried to bite me. Like a vicious bite. Not a nibble, like when i have food on my hands. I was wondering if i should get my guinea pig a snuggle. I see lots of people with them, and there piggies seem to enjoy them. What is so great about them?

I want to know why people use fleece at the bottom of there cages. I think it would be harder to clean? Is it? Also, how would you keep your piggy from eating it?
