He seems to be doing okay considering. He seems a bit angry though, . Poor dude. he's been laying in his litter/hay box and covering himself with hay. Before this he would just sit and munch. I think his hind quarters are still a bit numb because he's staggering a little as if he doesn't quite have it all together yet. But he'll forgive me next week when he can be next to the ladies

Good, they are all females and I am only keeping one. I am kind of trading babies with a friend also. She had gotten a guinea pig just after me and she had babies also. I'm going to take one of hers and she is taking one of mine. Sometime this week. The other is going to another friend. I'll try to post some pictures. If you look at my girl's cage picture that I posted last night, in the polka dotted house in the back corner, you can see a baby in there.

Hey, actually we never got around to buying coconut oil but what we got that worked was some of that bitter apple spray and it worked like a charm! But her back still looks very bad from where she chewed the daylights out of it.

Huge fan of the Venture Brothers & Princess Bride. One of our boy pigs is named after a David Bowie song, and the other two boys are named for the members of Handsome Boy Modeling School (Chest Rockwell & Nathaniel Merriweather). I'm a total product of pop culture, so that's where I get the most inspiration.

Guinea Pigs

I have 5 piggys!! I got my first 2 in late January of 2008 and my herd slowly grew to 5. I have 4 girls, and 1 fixed boy. The girls names are: BoJangles, Miss Root Beer Float, Monkey, and Skunk. The boy's name is: Bodie.

My Cage

I have a 2 by 10 C&C cage with bunk beds, fleece, and bedding.

Can someone please tell me what the odds are of catching mono 3 times in 8 years??? Seriously!! For the 3rd time, I have a confirmed diagnosis of mono through a blood test! I'm just at the beginning of my illness... and know it is going to get much worse. The first time I really should have been hospitalized, but my parents refused. At one point I had a fever of 104.3 for 3 days, and couldn't physically walk without the help of our dog (otherwise I was so dizzy I would fall over). My spleen swelled,...
