They only have a few at a time, Melissa takes in whatever she can and most of the piggies that were there when I adopted Ruby have already found homes. You can actually see success stories of all the piggies on their site, including my lil Ruby.

I looked last night and it looked like they had some cuties in there. ALSO, if you look on petfinder.com and search guinea pigs you can find lots of other shelters. I remember a couple of weeks ago there was a white guinea named pineapple in a local animal shelter. It's always worth it to check around!

Hey! I live in the Mid Michigan area so it was a bit of a drive for me, however the name of the shelter is west michigan critter haven and they have many ladies that foster the piggies, degus, bunnies and hamsters until someone comes to take them home. They take their adoptions very seriously so be prepared to fill out some paperwork.
