Wow... that's a lot of kids. Sometimes I wish I have cover for my cage too. I have 2 kids, 5 and 9. They actually behave well around the cage. It's my husband who likes to stick his hand in and spook them. He thinks it's funny to see them run for their lives -_-. I tried to talk him out of it.

I'll post pictures of the new cage when I'm done sewing their new bedspread. I just bought new fleece from Joann. They're on sale ($4.99/yard) until July 18th if you're looking for fleece.

I love to change their cage. It's so much fun watching them exploring the new cage.

Thanks for the tip and all your help!(:
wow. I guess you like change?
Well I'm planning a 2x4 with a 1x4 upper level then two "lounges" that are 2x1. Unless I do a 2x5 then it'll be a 1x5 upper level and two 2x2 "lounges". I'm also making a stand. AND a removable top when we have our family get-togethers cause we had 3 babies this year, one to go, a soon to be 2 year old, a 3 year-old, 4 year-old, 7 and 9. Also we cat-sit my sisters' cat cause she travels a lot and a lot of people in my family have dogs and bring them cause we're not allowed to have dogs.
Let's just say it's going to be some project....
    If it's a 2x4 then I'll adopt one female and if it's a 2x5 I'll adopt two so they're very comfortable.(:

The first C&C cage I built took less than an hour. It was 2x4 one floor with no stand. The other cages took about half day coz I had to cut old zip ties and remove some connectors. I just built cage #7. I haven't taken any pics yet.

I'm glad you're building bigger cage for your piggie and adopting her a friend. If you have any question about building, you can ask me. When you cut the coro, keep the thickness in mind. Leave enough room for the box to sit inside the grids. When I built my first cage, I didn't think of the thickness of the coro, when I fold the sides up and taped the box and put inside the grids, the box was too wide. It was sitting on connectors on one side and sitting on the floor on the other side, making the cage floor uneven. I had to remove all the connectors so the whole thing will sit on the floor.

Have fun building the cage. I hope to see pics soon.

One piggy, Lucky. She's in a store-bought cage.):
BUT, I'm remodeling my room this week so I'll have space for at least a 2x4 possibly a 2x5 cage and then I'm going to adopt her a friend(:
How long does it take you to buile a C&C Cage?
