About Kalix

Biography:

I love fostering animals but after a while I found that fostering dogs and cats (and assorted other animals) was just to much for me. The director of my local shelter asked if I wanted to foster some guinea pigs or bunnies. I fell in love with the guinea pigs and have now officially adopted five. I recently gave back the bunny I was fostering to a new home :(
But I still have my guinea pigs :)

Guinea Pigs:

I have five guinea pigs. Three females and two males all rescued.

ginger (when we rescued him we were told he was a girl, so we named him ginger. When he got older we found out he was a male)

My Cage:

The girls and boys (in serrate cages) live in wooden huts at night and are let out into play pens (about 10x10) during the day
