Things are still calm and peaceful with Lulu and Maya. I am so thrilled. Lulu seemed so lonely all by herself. I gave her a lot of lap time and she was rarely in her cage but I felt like I had failed her. My other girls would run around and popcorn in their cage but Lulu would just sit there looking pathetic. Now she races around and popcorns too. I do not remember the last time I saw her popcorn. I am so glad she is finally happy too.

I love my life! Today was the perfect day. I was very nervous about my new job. It is very different from what I have done before. However, I love it. I love the program and my new boss. The children are amazing. They seem to pick up things very quickly. I think they are going to be a joy to teach. I think I am going to be very happy working there.

My guinea pig Izzy is feeling better after having been on her meds for a few days. But the best, most fabulous news; I am finally employed. I HAVE A JOB! I know for many of you this is not a big deal. But for me, I do not know how to express how wonderful this is. I have been looking for so long. I am still giddy and luckily no one walked
