You mentioned in a thread that you didn't like your guinea pigs on carpet for floor time and the tile floor is too cold. I just wanted to share that I feel the same way but came up with an easy solution that might work for you. I spread an old quilt on the cold floor and stand grids around it. When they go back "home" I just shake the quilt outside and throw it in the washing machine. That might be a good place for you to put your furry pals when you want to give them a change of pace or when you are cleaning their big cage!

thank you for your response. I am still learning so any input you have is greatly appriciated. There was a spot under the store bought cage that I just put a grid under so they don't fall off the top level.
