OK. Yeah, I really need to review that. I'm going to make the cage in the book a 4 level cage. Two levels for males and two levels for females.

The sizes you are talking about aren't adequate, IMHO. Read the chart on the home page. If you split the hypothetical pigs into mangageable groups (baby pigs can be sexed more or less at birth, so if your book character was well-educated, she could, in theory, figure everyone out. Mom+babies in a 2x5, for example, then the adult boars in a 2x4 or bigger, something like that.

Well, considering that the girl in the book just got the babies from a breeder(pet store stopped the breeding and decided to not sell animals unless they came from the Humane Society and half of the proceeds went to the humane society) and the babies are only a week old, she can't tell what gender the babies are yet. Thanks for your suggestion though! I was thinking a 3x6 for 4 boars, a 3x3 for 5 Sows and so on.

I don't think anyone in their right mind would recommend putting 14 pigs in a single cage, no matter the size. It would be more realistic to split them into manageable groups, say 4's plus a pair...

Hello! Not for sure if you know this but what size cage would you reccomend for 14 Guinea Pigs(Its for a book I'm writing. Says nothing about Guineapigcages.com or Cavycages.com, just about a girl rescuing Guinea Pigs from a breeder and a pet store and having multiple C&C cages)? 10 are babies, 4 are adults

I have asked a question on your cage photo.....its the 5 photo on the second row.

Very cute little girls! If the pics are recent-- it looks like both could use a nail trimming.
