No, but we tied. 1-1. Better than losing, though!
I think the reason is because we needed to improve in controlling and judging where the ball is going and how far back or forward we need to go from corner and goal kicks, heading the ball, passing from the sides of the fields and not going towards the center. Because "everybody and his brother" is going to go after you in the center. Practice was fun today. He explained how and how and how long to stretch out because someone asked, so now instead of only 5-10 minutes of stretching out we will be stretching out for 20 minutes, and he is going to give us sheets on how to do it, as he used to play golf.
We have a game on Saturday and on Sunday this weekend, I can not wait!
I wish I was Puerto Rican. I envy you greatly. What is it like to not sunburn! I sunburn extremely easy, because my skin is, or I should say was, very pale.

Haha! I hope you can kick their butts into shape! We tied our game Saturday. We didn't do too bad, but we could have been better. I ended up with a "stitch" in my side, you know when you get that line down your side that cramps really bad? And I eat 2-3 hours before each practice and game and stretch from side to side and it still happens, making it almost impossible for me to do even a half hearted jog, so I asked to be put in defense instead of my normal midfield. Uniform color is a pale yellow-ish gold.
I forgot sunscreen and got sunburn on my face. I can't believe I was so stupid!

I know! I feel the exact same way! I always feel like I under or over do it. I do rather like attending parties for other people! If someone ever throws a surprise party for me I will hate them for eternity. First soccer game is this Saturday at 3:30. I don't get it. In the Spring, when it was really hot, we had all of our games in the afternoon, when it is even hotter, and this season, in the fall when it will be quite cool they are mostly in the morning, when it is even cooler. I need to have a talk with them. We will have to change into our uniforms at the field. Not on the field, of course, in the bathrooms. I feel like we can win. We have one girl that is worse than my little sister and two that are so-so the others are all pretty good.

I sure hope we get our uniforms tomorrow, I don't want to be changing at the field the day of the game! I have been crossing my fingers we don't get orange, I can bare any of the other colors but orange. Even black, and black makes me look like a ghost. Ah, who cares what color they are!

I don't want or am having a part this year, I never cared for them, call me weird.

I hate suicides. The drill called suicide, that is. Coach had us do them at practice today. He also made us scrimmage a co-ed team that is 4-5 years older than us. I swear the one boy was over 6 feet tall! Surprisingly the score was only 2-1, us having the 1 of course. It was actually kind of fun, it made us work harder. I didn't want to because the last time I scrimmaged against a team with boys I got knocked out.
My birthday is Monday! It's weird, I never feel like I am th age I turned until 4 or 5 months afterwards, you know?
