One of our rescues recently passed away. It pains me to say that she would have been one heck of a pig for the kids. She was very laid back. She died out of old age stress. I hate to look out side and see the shells where she's burried. R.I.P. Sandy. I hope you enjoy your dandilion greens on your way over the rainbow bridge.

Oka my guinea pig truffles was sharing my room with me for the longest time, and eventually stopped going to the bathroom in his little litter corner of my room, so I introduced him to Twwister , another boar. Well I puut them together and let them estblish dominence, well What I'm ashamed to admit is the fact that I didn't notice that Truffles was getting bit up, and in responce to Twisters actions he tried to defend himself, by chattering and lost his two front teeth. Thats when I seperated them....

Okay, I apoligize if my last blog was a little offensive. I just want to learn things about guinea pigs. Everyone always calls me "The guinea pig girl". But how can I be one, if all the advice I give is wrong? So here now Cavyspirit, I have come to your site to absorb your knowlegde!

I am trying to become a Cavy Rescue. Asking people for advice, and learning new things is why I started on this site. But people are so harsh with their comments, I mean they expect the new people to know everything, and comprehend everything! Some people aren't even moderators and their tones on here are so harsh.
