Yes it is alot more stressful than I could have imagined as well as a joy too. A double edged sword It seems EACH female "knows" which babies are HERS and rejects the others when the wrong ones seek out a nipple not of their own mom Cupcake is the worst mother (the brown one with white striped face) Twinkie is the best (the white one with the mask over her eyes) Biscuit the multi colored one is just so so and Muffin the BIG pig with the BIG baby is somewhere in the middle. The orange and white smooth coated one Cookie is the Great Aunt. (not pregnant that I can tell) I love the babies but it sure was UNINTENTIONAL having them and I know I have added to the general overpopulation here too THANK YOU for all your kind words and in the coming four weeks I will be having them sexed then pick THREE to keep and the remaining five I don't know yet. I might try ads in the paper and see who I can find to give them a LOVING home

I love looking at your baby photos!
I have a couple questions... do the babies nurse off of any female or just their mother? Do all the mothers take care of all the babies?

Oh such cute babies! Congrats! What a bummer though because it can be stressful. I'm glad I'm not going through that. Good luck with all those babies, if I was close I might consider taking one. Make sure you get them sexed so that you don't end up with more. Good Luck and keep me posted!

a 3x6 is a work in progress and I will only keep THREE babies and that will be fun to narrow it down from 8 now. The sex will be the determining factor but watch them ALL be girls or IF boys I am doomed Just kidding. ONLY 3 will I allow myself to keep and it is going to be heartbreaking parting with a single ONE but I must So, thank you ALL for your comments and soon as that cage is HERE and operational, you can be sure it will be in my photo gallery. Hey I seen your pics of the babies So cute, and I was going to ask if your keeping them all. but now I seen what you wrote down below.

The grids are together but the coro is not yet started. After doing more reading and then ALL of my female pigs gave BIRTH (I now have EIGHT babies) I decided to try to KEEP least three of the babies by making a 3x6 grid cage. So, I asked my cage builder to add a grid since he did NOT start the coro YET So, hopefully by this coming weekend (9-12/13) it will be done. I have some pics of the babies but trying to get BETTER shots before posting them. THANK YOU for your interest and ALL your sage advice
