Hey! You are doing the exact same thing I did. I researched for like 3-4 months. Then I showed my parents everything. They let me adopt a guinea pig for only $25, including pet store cage...(didn't have C&C yet, she only lived in it for like 1 week), food, all the veggies the lady still had, and everything! Thanks for taking the time to research. I am like you because I love animals so much and also want to be a veterinarian! Thanks and Good Luck!

Write in a little notebook the cost of everything you need and save for it. It works really well and I'm doing it right now.

Hey Ally! I'm so glad that you've decided to do this much research BEFORE getting guinea pigs! A lot of people aren't that responsible, so it shows that, if you're really 13, you're pretty mature! Keep up the great work! Be sure to listen to what people say on here! I'm sur if you do, that you'll be a great GP mom!
