Your pictures of your little babies is soooo cute.

Gryph seems to have stopped the over-preening thing (and that's what I think it is-- he didn't so much "pluck" as he did shred the feathers on one spot on his chest). I hadn't thought of a feather duster! We'll have to try that. He has lots of shreddable/chewable/activity toys, which we rotate and change out regularly. Gryphon is a (dna sexed) male Timneh, about 2 years old. He is actually pretty well behaved, all thngs considered-- he bites a little, but that is improving, and listens well (when he feels like it) .

Hey! I didn't know that about hot peppers and parrots. We have Timneh grey, do you think he'd like them? We're new to the parrot thing (we've had Gryphon about a year-- he was given to us by a friend who bought him and loved him, but shouldn't have had him in the first place. She was single, lived alone, and worked a lot of hours, and he wasn't getting any attention and was starting to pluck). Any advice you could offer on the parrot-parent thing would be appreciated.
