Re: HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
Does she seem normal otherwise? Is she eating?
What's the temp there?

Re: HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
The temp is about 34-37degrees celcius. She is normal otherwise, eating and purring at me, but every about 30seconds her leg will twitch and she'll sort of whimper at me like "Please make it stop" and then it'll stop and she'll be good till it starts again

Re: HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
My geography sucks, but I thought Australia was having winter right now. 34 C is about 98 F, no?
That's way too hot for guinea pigs! How cool is she where you moved her to?
I have not experienced a guinea pig twitching like that. It's not listed as a symptom of heat stroke, and I haven't had any pregnant females do it, either.

Re: HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
Australia is having Winter right now, so it's like -3Celsius (27F) at night and about your 98F during the day (That's Aussie Winters for you). I've moved her into the air con, but it doesn't seem to be making any diff. She's eating her lettuce, but this is really distressing her. The babies seem to be fine (She's laying on my belly and I can feel them moving around) but I'm really worried about her. I can't take her to the vet, as it isn't open and isn't exotic either. She doesn't look sick except for the twitching. Poor baby :(

Re: HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
She can't seem to get comfortable either, but I guess that just comes with the I'm-so-pregnant-I'm-about-to-pop territory.

Re: HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
I really don't know what to suggest for you to do, other than just try to keep her comfortable.
How long before the babies are due?

Re: HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
They are due now basically. I THINK she's about 71days, but that's just an estimate. The twitching doesn't seem as violent now, hopefully it's stopping.
