What should I use on my piggies

    ok

I have noticed that both of my boars have dry cracked feet and one has spurs (they get trimed about every week). I am looking on the gorgoues guineas website for somthing to help with there feet.

There are so many and I don't know what is the right thing for my pigs.

    Open to anything.

    Thanks,

    Ellie, Skipper, and Lucky

You can use extra virgin coconut oil. You can get it at your grocery store.

Is sesame oil okay? Olive oil? My gpig has those conditions too.

It's fine, as long as you test for allergies by putting a small amount behind the pigs ear for an hour. I would prefer to use the olive oil for dry paws & human feet.

Just to add that I'm a big fan of emu oil. It's wonderful for dry, irritated skin. Alas, much of what you will find on the Web is poor quality and has a not-so-pleasant odor. I found an excellent source for it and have been using it for 2-3 years. Seems to be fine for the piggies as well.
