White Urine.
Hi. I finally switched my guinea pigs bedding to fleece last night. Today when I was spot cleaning her cage I noticed a bunch of white spots on the fleece which I assume is urine. It also has a stronger smell then I remember it being when I used shavings. I am not sure what is going on or how to help her. If you have any information it will be very much appreciated.

Re: White Urine.
Have you looked at the diet chart in the nutrition section and compared your menus to it? It color codes by how often you should feed certain foods to them. http://www.guineapigcages.com/forum/...ants-list.html
Some pigs can't tolerate romaine lettuce and do better when they switch to KMS pellets.
Some white spots are okay, as long as they don't feel gritty. One of my own pigs has consistently white urine. Stopping romaine and switching to KMS helped a lot.

Re: White Urine.
What are you feeding your pigs in the way of veggies, hay and pellets?
